I think that it is always a good idea to hold onto your dreams and try with all your heart. Heather Whitestone is one such lady who did just that. In 1995 Heather won that year's Miss America pageant! She is deaf in one ear and has 5% hearing in the other. In her biography Listen with My Heart, Heather describes her ability to dance by hearing the music with her heart. She is so very inspirational to anyone who has a dream. Don't be held back by anything. You can always try.
The link below is a video of the crowning moment for the young Heather Whitestone, a quick interview and then she dances. Heather Whitestone’s novel Listen with My Heart is a great read and I urge all of you to read it. Heather has inspired in me, after watching this video and reading her novel, I have learned that I am the only one who can set limits on what I can and cannot do.

  1. This truly is inspiring for me, and im sure a lot of other people as well. It goes along perfectly with the idea that you can do anything you set your mind to.
One thing that everyone has in common is a heart filled with dreams. Sometimes I don't think my dreams can really be a reality for me, but after reading this I feel much more motivated.
Shes so beautiful and amazing at what she does!
