Speak Up and Be Happy
Have you even had the chance to travel by car to Florida? Some time before the spring my cousin told me his parents were planning a trip to Orlando.  At first I wanted to ask if I could go but I was afraid they would say no. I didn't want to miss a wonderful experience. A week later I could not hold myself back any longer so I called my aunt's house. I asked her "Can I please go with you to Florida? I would love to go for the first time in my life." My aunt said "yes." I was the happiest person ever. The trip meant a lot to me. It was an unforgettable experience. I spent time with my family. I relaxed. I played. I saw my favorite artist. I felt very special. I am so glad I did not hold my tongue. If I had not asked to go, I wouldn't be able to share this experience with you.

  2. Im happy for you. Im so glad you spoke up and it all worked out that way for you. What is your favorite artist? I think its great that you shared this with us. People need to know that it is okay to include yourself in something that you want to be a part of.

  3. I remember when I was in middle school I drove down to Florida with my sisters, parents and one of my cousins. It was one of my favorite trips I've taken with my family. You also bring up a valuable lesson that I hope you took advantage of - always speak your mind and don’t be afraid of the outcome.
