Have you even had the chance to travel by car to Florida? Some time before the spring my cousin told me his parents were planning a trip to Orlando. At first I wanted to ask if I could go but I was afraid they would say no. I didn't want to miss a wonderful experience. A week later I could not hold myself back any longer so I called my aunt's house. I asked her "Can I please go with you to Florida? I would love to go for the first time in my life." My aunt said "yes." I was the happiest person ever. The trip meant a lot to me. It was an unforgettable experience. I spent time with my family. I relaxed. I played. I saw my favorite artist. I felt very special. I am so glad I did not hold my tongue. If I had not asked to go, I wouldn't be able to share this experience with you.

I remember when I was in middle school I drove down to Florida with my sisters, parents and one of my cousins. It was one of my favorite trips I've taken with my family. You also bring up a valuable lesson that I hope you took advantage of - always speak your mind and don’t be afraid of the outcome.
