What's happening at your school to prepare students with disabilities for the world of work?
I was talking to some parents of kids with disabilities recently. They were all in high school, some ready to graduate. They told me they had never heard of "transition services" and didn't know anything about vocational assessments. I told them that Level One assessments were a requirement but they said nothing like that had been done and their kids who were facing going out into the world without any planning.
